March 18, 2012 - An email chain shows Clinton asking help from Pagliano when she has trouble getting her emails.
June 29, 2013 - Some of Clinton’s emails are later recovered due to a back-up of computer files made on this date.
January 01, 2014 - The data on Clinton’s first private server is transferred to another computer, causing some of Clinton’s emails to be lost.
July 31, 2014 - Heather Samuelson, one of Clinton’s lawyers, allegedly leads the sorting of over 60,000 of Clinton’s emails.
September 30, 2014 - Clinton’s lawyers are sent the rest of Clinton’s emails so they can finish sorting them.
October 29, 2014 - A computer file from Platte River has a key role in how Clinton’s emails are sorted, according to testimony by Cheryl Mills.
December 01, 2014 - Copies of Clinton’s emails are deleted from the computers of two of Clinton’s lawyers.
December 06, 2014 - Clinton tells Mills she doesn’t need her “personal” emails, resulting in Mills telling those managing Clinton’s server to delete them.
March 26, 2015 - A Platte River Networks employee allegedly deletes all of Clinton’s emails and then wipes them to prevent their recovery, despite apparently having no clear order to do so.
August 17, 2015 - A State Department official tells the FBI about 1,000 previously unknown emails between Clinton and David Petraeus.
June 24, 2016 - Clinton’s comment in a November 2010 email “I don’t want any risk of the personal being accessible” could become an issue in the 2016 presidential election.
June 29, 2016 - US intelligence is said to be looking closely to see if Russia could be covertly trying to release all of Clinton’s emails to the public.
July 05, 2016 - FBI Director Comey announces he will not recommend Clinton’s indictment on any charge, but he calls her “extremely careless” in handling highly classified information.
July 07, 2016 - FBI Director Comey says Clinton’s lawyers didn’t read every email before deleting some of them.
July 07, 2016 - FBI Director Comey says it is unclear if any of Clinton’s emails were deleted by Clinton or anyone else.
July 13, 2016 - The State Department will eventually release the thousands of deleted work-related Clinton emails discovered by the FBI.
July 21, 2016 - The FBI begins sending thousands of recovered Clinton emails to the State Department.
